Welcome to Resilient Therapy. Thanks for stopping by! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Richmond, VA. I offer in-person and virtual sessions. My practice believes in empowering clients to develop resiliency. Resilience can look like many different things: overcoming a long standing obstacle or accepting the things in life that need to be accepted. To live a resilient life we must be vulnerable in naming our challenges and creative in finding healthy responses.

In my work with OCD sufferers (of which I am one), I often say our goal is to increase our ability to tolerate uncertainty. I find that this work helps people develop a resiliency that translates to many other parts of life. Through therapy we seek to embrace life’s challenges not avoid them.
